EXPERTS OF GRAIN MILLING
Trieur
Utilizing a specially indented cylinder design and rotational motion, the Trieur separates broken grains, round seeds, and long foreign impurities from the product stream with high precision based on grain length.
The Trieur performs separation by utilizing differences in the size and shape (length/roundness) of grain kernels. The product entering the machine is fed into a rotating cylinder featuring specially dimensioned indentations (pockets) on its inner surface. During the rotation of the cylinder, broken kernels and round foreign matter fit into these pockets and are carried upward to a certain height. Upon reaching a specific discharge angle, these small particles fall into the collection trough located at the center of the cylinder due to gravity and are conveyed to the waste line via a screw conveyor. Meanwhile, sound grain kernels that are too long and intact to fit into the pockets remain at the bottom of the cylinder and advance toward the main product discharge throat thanks to the inclination and rotational movement of the cylinder. Thus, broken kernels and foreign matter are separated from the sound product with an accuracy close to 100%.
