Double Deck Roller Mill

FIELD OF USE

The roller mill is used in systems with varying numbers of units, depending on product types and technically equipped capacities, to break and crush grains to achieve the desired product. The machine consists of a product inlet box, feeding system, break and reduction rollers, and a scraper brush and knife system. Additionally, it is supported by pneumatic equipment, speed control systems, and an electric automation section equipped with a geared motor. Clean air is supplied to the machine’s pneumatic system, delivering continuous air at 6 bar pressure processed by dryers.

The product entering the inlet box from within the system activates the pre-calibrated machine. During the grinding process, the incoming and outgoing product is both visually monitored on-site and technically evaluated in the laboratory to ensure it meets the desired condition. Based on this, the product feed rate is controlled according to capacity, the roller gaps are set using a precision adjustment system, and once a standard product flow is established, the system is locked.

If needed, there’s no need to reset the machine’s adjustments when regrinding a standard product. As mentioned above, this machine is used throughout the grinding stages in connection with break and reduction roller diagrams. If the amount of product entering the feed box is insufficient during operation, capacity sensors stop the feeding system and put the break and reduction rollers into idle mode. In this position, both the installation of scraper brushes on the break rollers and the wear on the roller surfaces and scraper knives are prevented. At the same time, energy consumption is reduced, as the machine’s idle motors draw less electrical current.

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

• It is possible to disassemble and assemble the feeding system and grinding system as a set. Waste oil buildup is prevented, and the machine’s mechanical parts stay cleaner as a result of their technical features.

• Since the roller gaps are precisely aligned to prevent slippage on the belts, the belts—especially Poly-V and other V-belts—last longer, even when the machine stops suddenly under load and restarts, as they are less prone to wear.

• Thanks to the newly designed technical features of the belt tensioning system, the belts have an extended lifespan. The heat dissipation filter on the bearing helps preserve the oil’s properties for longer, extending bearing life and reducing the need for frequent maintenance. The installation and removal of the brush and scraper systems for part replacement are now easier.

• Due to the widened inlet box and technical improvements on the feed rollers, a more homogeneous flow is achieved over the feed roller when distributing the product. A mechanical product guide installed in the inlet box continuously directs the spilled product to the desired location, enabling the rod sensors to operate more efficiently.

• A central lubrication system, belt control sensors, bearing temperature sensors, vibration sensors, and a choke sensor on the lower discharge bunker cylinder can be added. In addition to sensors indicating the position of the roller cylinders, there are also sensors showing the feed and roller ratios.

• Precision Adjustment System
The outstanding design helps the system operate without looseness.

• Complete Sealing
A sealing cover isolates particles to keep the manually operated bearing system clean.

• Roll Change System
The roll change system includes all necessary components.

• Hygiene Safe
Internal components are made of stainless materials from inlet to outlet.

• Safe Clearance
In case a foreign object falls in, the roller gap can instantly open up to 4 mm to prevent possible system damage.

• Single-Body Structure
The special uni-body steel frame is designed for greater strength. The innovative new design shows better resistance under stress compared to conventional twin-body roller mill structures.

• Feeding System
When changing the feed roller set, there’s no need to disassemble the geared motor set.

• Bearing Lubrication
For greater efficiency, innovative ventilation points on the bearings relieve heat and pressure. Additionally, the lubrication point has been repositioned inside the bearing surfaces for uniform wear protection.
